Description

This course introduces the principles and values of peer support, focusing on effective communication, empathy, and maintaining clear boundaries. Learners will explore the benefits of peer support, develop skills in active listening and safe disclosure, and learn how to manage ethical challenges and safeguard wellbeing. The course also covers safe signposting, mapping local support services, and creating a personal SMART action plan for ongoing development and progression.
