Description

This course is for people who want to develop skills for working in health and social care. It focuses on understanding people, their needs, and how to work effectively in a care setting.
You will study two NOCN units:
• Family Relationships – Learn about the roles and responsibilities of family members, how relationships affect care, and how to support families.
• Understanding Record Keeping for the Care Worker – Learn how to keep accurate, clear, and confidential records in a care setting.
The course is:
• Practical – You will use real examples from health and social care.
• Supportive – Tutors will guide you step by step.
• Career-focused – Designed to prepare you for work or further study in health and social care.
After the course, you will:
• Understand family relationships and their importance in care.
• Know how to keep accurate records as a care worker.
• Gain an NOCN Level 2 Award in Skills for Employment, training and personal development.
No previous qualifications are needed. This course is suitable for anyone interested in a career in health and social care.
