Our tutor, Tony, is a highly experienced educator with a BA in Natural Sciences and an MA in Natural Sciences and Psychology from the University of Cambridge (Downing College), as well as a PGCE in Secondary Science, a PGCert in Children and Young People's Mental Health, and a PGDip in Clinical Applications of Psychology. He has over 20 years of experience in the educational and social care/psychology sectors, working with both secondary school-aged students and adult client groups. Additionally, he has extensive experience teaching and tutoring Science and Maths at the secondary level, effectively engaging students and helping them develop key skills in these subjects. Since April 2015, he has successfully delivered Multiply courses to adults. The main purpose of this short course is to help your Year 7 child with their Secondary School maths. Through this course, you will discover the fun, beauty, and meaningfulness of maths, which will in turn change your attitudes towards the subject. Having a positive attitude and believing that everyone can excel in maths, as long as they find the right approach and receive adequate support, is crucial to successful learning. By passing on this positive attitude to your child, you can create a magical impact on their maths learning journey and help with Secondary School maths and beyond in their education. This course aims to help you gain the confidence needed in supporting your child's learning, empowering parents.
