Description

Emergency First Aid at Work - 6 hour course

What's Covered:
-The roles and responsibilities of an emergency first aider
- Assessing an incident
- Managing an unresponsive casualty
- CPR and defibrillation
- Recovery position
- Choking
- Seizures
- Shock
- Wounds and bleeding
- Minor injuries
- Cuts, grazes and bruises
- Minor burns and scalds

Classroom based learning with practical aspects. Learners must be able to demonstrate these practical elements including conducting CPR on the floor. Learners also complete a 15 question multiple choice assessment and upon passing are awarded a certificate which is valid for three years.

This course can support learners into employment or aid those already in the work place or a voluntarty role.

It builds skills and confidence and improves well-being.
